CBRC 2.0 Founding Contributor Campaign
This is your one-off opportunity to help bootstrap the launch of CBRC 2.0 and the Use Case Register. In 2023, we launched the CBRC Use Case Register, and had very positive reviews and interest. Our main issue was the manual processes and slow scoring of the use cases. We worked over the last 18 months with UBRI-funded Nova SBE and SUPER HOW?, to develop an AI-driven verification and scoring process for the Use Case Register. The new scoring process is built with academic rigour, from our original Commercializing Blockchain work at UCL CBT in London and with Oracle, and updated by UBRI-funded academia.

CBRC 2.0 will launch (with your help) later in 2026 and have the ability to verify, score, and certify many more use cases — thus making the CBRC Use Case Register the “Blockchain record of Blockchain use cases using XRP Ledger”. We will be requesting a submission fee for use cases to be submitted, to cover the processing costs, but we need a head start to fund the project quickly and build the infrastructure on XRPL needed for the growth of the register. Your contribution will be recognised on the contributors page (subject to applicable terms) and you will receive CBRC use case credits (subject to the published credit terms and eligibility rules) to submit your own projects and projects you support.
On top of the normal CBRC contributor benefits (listed below) we will be offering our CBRC 2.0 Founding Contributor Campaign, where you will receive the CBRC benefits PLUS an allocation of SLT, as a big thank you for your day-one support of the CBRC 2.0 project and for helping to kick-start the updated Use Case Register. Your support will keep the register open for all users to learn what Blockchain-based projects are real and what they score in the CBRC Blockchain Applicability score.

- CBRC Community Contributor — you will specifically be issued with a “CBRC Contributor” certificate, issued on XRPL: a permanent onchain acknowledgement of your role launching CBRC 2.0.
- Permanent listing on the Partners and contributors page on TrustCBRC.com, with a link to onchain certification.
- CBRC Credits — five CBRC use case credits will be issued, valued internally at $995 (subject to the published credit policy)
- Priority Access to Future Opportunities — contributors will be contacted first regarding future CBRC ecosystem initiatives, pilot programmes, collaborations, or community opportunities before they are made available more broadly.

Your account holds your contribution reference, your CBRC use case credits, and the XRPL wallet your certificate is delivered to.

Send from the wallet you want your SLT and certificate delivered to, using the destination tag shown in your account. Places are allocated in the order contributions arrive on-ledger.

Questions
This is the first opportunity to take part in the CBRC 2.0 Founding Contributor Campaign. You will be a founding contributor to CBRC 2.0 and help to make the XRP Ledger the “Blockchain record of Blockchain use cases”. You will be ensuring that CBRC 2.0 launches and brings the latest real Blockchain projects into public view, with added understanding of what Blockchain technology can actually change in our world.
The majority of the XRP will be used for the CBRC launch costs, infrastructure, AI development, processing costs, and launch marketing, over the 12-month launch period. CBRC will endeavour to call off a maximum of 1/12th per month to ensure a steady and managed release.
CBRC works with a network of institutions, universities, and community participants. We have a strong partnership team including many XRPL institutions, university networks, influencer networks and a wide reach of interested partners who support our development and launch efforts.
CBRC started in 2023 and was fully funded by our Founder and CEO, Antony Welfare. We engaged SUPER HOW? as the technical build partner and they developed the beta version of the CBRC Use Case Register. The Ripple-funded UBRI programme funded the Nova SBE academic work on the scoring mechanism and the AI process to be built for CBRC 2.0.
For CBRC 2.0, the CBRC founder intends to fund the initial technical infrastructure costs of approximately $50,000, to ensure the project starts with the best technical platform possible and the project is kept open for all to learn from real-world projects using Blockchain technology.
We will review the amount contributed and assess the ability to continue the campaign. If the campaign does not proceed, eligible contributors will receive refunds to the sending wallet within 20 days, subject to the refund policy.
You will be a founding member of the launch of CBRC 2.0, where you will gain the benefits of the CBRC Contributor plus the Bonus Founding Contributor SLT Allocation.
From 4 months after the campaign closes, the CBRC 2.0 SLT reserved allocation pool will distribute 1/12th of your allocation each month to the wallet you signed up with. This will happen on the 28th of each month for 12 months.
Up to 30% of the XRP will be committed to the SLT/XRP liquidity pool, until it is required for the running of the CBRC 2.0 project on an agreed liquidity funding basis.
There is no partnership or agreement between the two communities or entities. The CBRC 2.0 Founding Contributor Campaign is being offered to the SLT community in recognition of their support for the development and launch of CBRC 2.0. There is no promise of any further benefits beyond those listed here, and there is no endorsement of SLT or the SLT community by CBRC, or vice versa.
